Rich and creamy on the palate with rich but slightly underripe Anjou pear and yellow and green apple. Hints of vanilla spice and melted caramel reminiscent of sliced green apples and caramel dipping sauce from childhood. Moderate acidity for old world, and slightly higher impression of alcohol for OW Chardonnay. Delicious and easily drinkable

This got slurped right down at the end of the night. Burgundy deliciousness.

Olivier Giroux is slaying it in Pouilly-Loche! He's NOT trying too hard with the elevage to seem bigger than its appellation. it's just beautifully clean fruit and terroir on display. So good. Les Mûres is my favorite so far from the '12s, hands down.

Nose of crushed rocks, lemon, white flowers, pineapple. Very intense and lovely. The palate is very well balanced and tends to represent the sweet, playful, fruity side of dry Bourgogne Chardonnay. Lemon, passion fruits, a precise acid backbone, a rather long finish with white flowers. Wow what an apéro hit !
