This producer is foreign to me but the 1989 was still alive and kicking. Meaty, soft cherry, leather

Beautiful tones, soft floral touch with a delicate finish and after taste. Not extremely full bodied but definitely worth the adventure to 1985.

Dusted this off for a special occasion. Rustic colour. Smelt very floral. We drank it right after opening without decanting. Most of the dark fruits have disappeared, along with the tannins. What’s left is a very floral, light beginning that transitions to mild to moderate cigar box, leather. It’s surprisingly smooth. Minimal acidity. It is past it’s prime for sure. After 30 minutes the taste and structure started to fall apart, but it was a fun experience!
