Nov 6th, 2023Had this 2020 TJ’s Central Coast Zin on 10/4/2022. This was suggested by a TJ’s employee when I asked if she had any favorites in the Zin family. This wine was decanted for approx 1-2 hours and was surprisingly delicious-at this price point especially! Jammy and has a decent finish. A bit of a spice and/or peppery taste- very fruit forward, but this is an easy to enjoy wine that I would definitely purchase again! Thanks once again to the very helpful and knowledgeable TJ’s employees!!

Keeping in mind this is a $6 bottle of wine, it’s pretty good! Has the varietal bite, as well as full and long flavor. A little heavy on the fruit but not sweet by any stretch. Tasted 30 January 2022

Perfect $5 food-friendly red. Way to go, Joe's! Paired very well with cinnamon-dusted Tuscona cheese.

KWN Zin Edition!
Wine 2. Massive drop off from Wine 1. To me it was clear this was the classic TJ bottle snuck in by Haro. Confirmed upon reveal. Lot of fruit, not much complexity. Fairly basic house wine. But it plays. And for $4.99 you really can’t go wrong here. Crack it open w a pizza.
