Amador County Zinfandel

Zinfandel can be quite good in the hands of a thoughtful producer. This is almost (almost) Bordeaux-like.

concord grape jelly aroma, luscious mouthfeel, dry finish. unassuming and unpretentious

Nice rich dark fruit. Hint of smoke, mildly structured

Great zin. Although, it's a little on the pricey side. It was on sale but even at its sale price ($17) You can do better for a zin.

Solid value, loads of fruit and spice and great texture.

Their 1998 bottling was my 'ah ha!' wine. This only continues a track record of excellence. Spicy red fruit, Huckle berry, iron, stone, pine needles, and barely showing its age. Zinfandel at its best.

Gotta love this Zin with good tannic structure! Not overripe, always a hallmark of Bill Easton wines. Not quite as good as the Rinaldi single vineyard bottling, but at a fraction of the price, who cares?

10/2022. Good medium bodied Zin. Nice fruit and finish. Paired well with the pasta special at Lula Drake.

Full bodied. It was great with salmon. 2014 vintage at $21.50.
