Reserva Vinho Regional Alentejano Aragonês

The winemakers tried to give this a little structure with some aging in French oak, but didn’t quite get there. The wine is a little thin and grapey. It has some leanings toward leather and pencil shavings, but again, doesn’t quite get there.

Dry, full bodied, very structured, black currant and leather

First great wine of our Portugal trip. A bit sweet

Fantastic red with a dry finish from Alentejo region of Portugal. Pairs well with meat and fatty blue fish.
