More of a medium body and tighter tannins. Still has time to age! Beautiful notes of stewed plum, vanilla and sandalwood. Opens with more earthy notes. Pairs well with roast chicken or pork loin.

Jul 14th, 2021The 2015 claret is a favorite, approachable and easily paired wine. Definitely has some more years before peak drinkability. Bramble fruit, black tea, and a hint of black pepper. Smooth tannins and nicely balanced acid on the palate.
