Opening up nicely after a few minutes in the glass, the funk blew off early and is giving great stone fruit on the nose and palate still after all these years! Lacks the great spiciness I almost expect from fresh Gewurtztraminer but it makes up for it with subtle notes of lychee on the mid-palate with just enough residual sugar to truly preserve the palate which is surprisingly intact after all these years.
