The nose is youthfully fruit-forward, still showing its sweet, toasty oak, yet evolving into a display of crushed blueberries in vanilla cream with hints of cardamom and sage. On the palate, the 2018 XOBC Cabernet boasts incredible freshness, as silky textures flood the senses with bright red and blue fruits, propelled by brisk acids with a twang of subtle minerality. The finish is long and vibrant, showing round tannin with echoes of purple-tinged fruit and florals, as a hint of tart raspberry lingers on. — 4 years ago
