Trying out FirstLeaf. This was the first wine we chose to taste. Dark red. Initial aromas: licorice, cherry, berries & subtle floral tones. Taste: dark blackberry, cherry, oak, touch of smokey chocolates. There is an undertone of sweetness, yet, earthy dry soil tampers it down with slight bitterness. I would recommend some time to air, which allows all the texture and flavors to flourish. Overall, a lovely red wine. So far, happy with FirstLeaf! — 6 years ago
Really nice, full, complex and paired with a wide variety of charcuterie and other entrees. A good everyday selection. — 5 years ago
Thought this was a very good wine. Had it with BBQ ribs and twice backed mashed potatoes. Great taste and body, buttery flavor at end — 8 years ago
