Solid Tempranillo—red fruit, medium body, nice length, bright citrus on the nose. Certain to be a crowd pleaser. — 6 years ago
Smooth but hints of somewhat of an odd taste — 7 years ago
Little on the prune flavor side but good body and overall good fruit. Not quite the perfect cab flavor though — 8 years ago
Red and blue fruit, a little spice and a tiny bit of leather. Love Ken’s wines. — 8 years ago
What a surprise! Thought this wine would be too old...wrong. Thought it would be sweet...wrong. Thought it would undrinkable...wrong. Wow! Super impressed with what San Bernabe Vineyard can do with Malvasia. Fresh, dry, star fruits, floral notes, stunning...I wish I had another bottle. — 9 years ago

Very good didn’t know what to expect went well with manicotti — 5 years ago
After 10 yrs in the cellar, still stable and true. Black fruit still rich, medium body, smooth tannins, classic merlot from the Master's hand. — 6 years ago
Has matured into a ⭐️! Heavy weight, glycerin-y with slight oxidation. Nice almond and dried orange rind. On the finish there is a burst like when u bite down on a white grape. Excellent wine and compliments cream sauce pastas. — 8 years ago
Im lifting the average score for this wine and I think it’s deserved. I get slight florals and fresh funky herb aromas, red and blue fruit on a medium body with nice grippy tannins and an acidic punch. Lotta complexity for a bottle at this price. — 8 years ago

One tough wine...my magnum has been driven across the US in a big moving truck and occasionally poorly cellared but after 13 years... balanced oak, cedar, blackcurrant, balanced char, slight leather, white pepper...a very classic easy-drinking cab. Great job Ken!! — 6 years ago
Lovely desert wine — 7 years ago
Nice white. Less acidity and more residual sugar than I'm used to but tasty. — 8 years ago
Maybe there's some $2200 Oakville Cab that's more deserving of a 9.9. Chances are I'll never get to compare. This wine cost about $50 and it gives me blackberry, licorice, and access to a long-ago memory of smoking cigars with my dad. — 9 years ago
