“New” brewpub in Oakland that turns out to be three years old. Good guest beer list and one of the few local beer bars with TVs. Always fun to watch a Manning lose. Niners will soon be 7 and 9! Any takers? — 7 years ago

Another terrific beer from Jolly Pumpkin. Definitely improves with some time in the glass; much better on tap at the brewpub in Ann Arbor. Doesn't have the depth of the La Roja (which is by far my favorite JP), but still a great beer. — 10 years ago
