Light, crisp, and easy drinking. Small amount of bubbles with lemon and green apples on the nose. Prominent green apple taste. — 7 years ago
A go-to red for me from the Douro DO of Portugal. Benefits from a 2-hour decant. Comes in at only $8. The winery name, Vila Regia, means "royal town", and was a designation given to towns founded by the Kings of Portugal.
"Ruby colour. Fine and elegant red fruit bouquet, combined with hints of vanilla and coconut. Balanced, rounded, and full-bodied flavour with an elegant, lingering aftertaste."

What do you guys think of this? It’s seriously like nine dollars. If you put it in a glass it’s disappointing but if you drink it right out of the bottle it’s really refreshing and good. Kind a like drinking sparkling lemon water. — 6 years ago
Fantastic Portuguese red blend with native varieties - rounded, juicy, berry-like, a hint of smoke, and a decadent mouthfeel. Not dazzling or super complex, but extremely comforting to drink. Insane value! — 7 years ago
