This is just a lovely wine. Bright, vivacious, doesn’t need food but can make dull food sing! Bright cherry, raspberry, earthy, a bit of nutmeg. Had it over 4 days and it still was wonderful!

Fruit and acid collide, works well with a steak, but I also think could go with Salmon or Swordfish due to the fruit. I get tons of cherry notes along with fig and dried friot, and on the palate, more cherry, ripe strawberry, graphite and red flowers. Very Italian but super drinkable!! — 2 years ago
