First time trying a wine from Vértice that uses Portuguese varietals for a nice violet color red wine with a fantastic dry finish and caramel aromas. Pairs well with red meats, strong cheeses, blue fatty fish and smoked sausages and hams. — 7 years ago

Not a variety I've come across solo before but, dear God, its absolutely perfect for this. Razor edged floral delights wafting into deep fruity satisfaction. Its not all limes and lemos, peachier more tropical fun here (its hot in the Douro, makes sense). Ahe has provided a little wood and bread to the profile, itll go on for a good decade more.
