Pure funk on the nose...salt, chemistry lab, leather! And then deep rich fruit on the tongue, a playful fizz and a hint of licorice. Superb combo. Love it. — 6 years ago
Had at Tortuga in Cinque Terre at Monterosso al mare with Jette, very nice white. Pear and apple up front. Floral notes (roses) on the finish. Very easy drinking. Hints of vanilla and popcorn on the nose, but the palate exceeds nose. Blend of Bosco, Albarola, and Vermentino — 12 years ago
Per Bianca of PBB: It's starting to get real hot out, so you know I had to include a good old red wine in the light, juicy and low abv style, clocking in at only 10,5%. This is one of those wines that you can drink at almost any time of day, preferably outside if you can. Fresh red berries, tons of minerality, with a long fresh finish, plus the bright acidity makes it incredibly drinkable. Good to drink now, at apero hour before a meal, or with some light bites like salmon crudo, beef tartare or marinated mushrooms.
