Ruby to purple in color. On the nose blackberries, chocolate, baking spice and slight hay. On the palate you again get the blackberries, blueberries, some leather, and bitter chocolate. I didn't find notes of pepper as you would normally find in California zinfandel. Very nice semi dry sipping wine. You really feel the 15% long after the finish when the tongue is buzzing. — 4 years ago
