On the nose dried cherry and a lot of leather, roasted coffee, even cold tea. Oak notes of medium intensity.

On the palate it is very dry with very high acidity and high tannins. Medium body and long finish.

Lots of flavor and depth here with a long finish and dry, powdery tannins. Ripe berries and a hint of pepper. Not very green. Youthful at almost five years old. More time in bottle wouldn’t hurt. — 5 years ago
