Chateau Kirwan 1981. Smoky jalapeño kind of reminds of mescal. Lots decaying leaves and dirt, old leather, with a hint of oxidation on the nose. The tannins and acid held up quite well for 34 year old Bordeaux from a cooler vintage. — 9 years ago

Decent Bordeaux sauv blanc. Lacks depth but for the price, so much better than equivalent priced New Zealand or Chilean sb. But a go-to wine for an everyday white. Goes well with lighter foods. — 10 years ago
