This is one of the Single Block Cuvees from Two Paddocks owned by actor and raconteur, Sam Neill. Sam is an engaging and very funny guy - could have done Stand Up! From the Program and Bio - "Producers and Purveyors of Pinot to Gentry and Ratbags since 1993."
This wine was 50% whole bunch as with all 3 Cuvées offered. Textbook Otago Pinot with wild Thyme nose, cherry and luscious silky mouthfeel with fine tannin structure. — 8 years ago
I love everything from them, not only because of the gorgeous label art, but they also make great wine. Having said that, this bottle was a bit sharp and a little more minerally than usual. — 12 years ago
Nice smooth and light red — 5 years ago
A contribution from the raconteur @Shawn R and the label is a photo of him from his youthful confused stage. This was banging. I immediately recalled the SQN Incognito when I sat with this for a while. Very dark in the glass for a Grenache, subtle pepper, crimson cherry, kirsch. So sumptuous and voluptuous....and I loooove voluptuous. — 7 years ago
Can’t go wrong with the always unique outlier Cayuse in the mix. Raconteur @Shay A brought this and the expected fox fur and raw hot dog bouquet hits you immediately upon initial swirl. Blood and iron everywhere. Like a civil war battlefield. Always fun. — 6 years ago
Tart lemony white — 8 years ago

Very good, but not quite enough tobacco or pepper to go above 9 for me. — 5 years ago
