Very yummy! Don't hold too long. — 11 years ago
A blend of 90% Tempranillo & 10% Graciano, deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruit, oak and spice, aged for 12 months in American oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum flavors with smoky pepper spice and espresso notes, medium+ acidity and oak tones. Big rustic tannins, medium finish ending with sweet smoky notes. Ok, better than past vintages. Tasted a few times, needs more time in the bottle. — 5 months ago
I can smell the wind, the sun, the stone buildings of Spain in this well made of straightforward Rioja. This 2006 is just coming into it’s given that it may have been fruit forward in its early life. I prefer the crianza from this same wine maker, the reserva goes down enjoyably easy. — 4 years ago
Excellent wine, as good as it gets. — 9 months ago
Excellent QPR. Medium/heavy Tempranillo. Lots of pepper on the palate. The noise has classic Rioja notes of vanilla and and subtle black fruit and ripe cherry. — 8 years ago
