Smooth dry white wine, good value for money — 3 months ago
Enjoyed a remarkable meal at the Pacheca vineyards. 10 months in French Oak. This red blend had a suitably tannic edge against well balanced fruit. Buy it if you can find it. — a year ago

Oaky, rich, and full bodied. Brought out the roasted flavors of a short rib dish nicely. — a year ago

Authentic, old-school, old-world aromas, no new oak to curb its energy. Chewy tannins, it could only be from the Douro. The fruit is little simple and shallow, just short of being excellent, but its honesty and modesty make it more appealing than many of the more ambitious/pretentious Douro reds. — 7 years ago
