This wine is tinted medium dark. The nose is jammy and oaky, with plenty of blackberry, clove and currant notes. The palate brings no surprises. It is full of fruit and oak spice, but not as much as I found in the bouquet. The flavor of anise hides amongst the berries and staves. I bought it for cooking, but did enjoy the leftover sips. It was cheap, but serviceable. — 8 months ago

2022 vintage. Very consistent! We’ve now had the’19, ‘21, and ‘22. All were just as enjoyable as the next. — 8 months ago
