Im basically in love with Friuli. This wine knocked my socks off. The nose has white peach, and green apple, and herbs. I would call this medium body. Obviously the palate is dominated by pear, ( that’s why it’s called Grant Bosc right?) it’s balanced and smooth. There’s no oak at all. Very nice acid finish but no astringency. Paired beautifully with salmon and roasted broccoli, but also divine on its own. It’s like a Sauvignon Blanc, but better and without the grapefruit. — 3 years ago
