Lucious Piemonte red wine made from the Albarossa grape, a cross of the Barbera and Nebbiolo grapes. The result is deep ruby color with a fragrant bouquet and a lingering taste of red cherries. Pairs wonderfully with a variety of foods, but especially Italian. Great bargain. Looking for more of this grape — 2 years ago

Great value at under $20 via WTSO. Floral nose, earthy in the palate with relatively complex cherry some strawberry and spice. Tannins throughout but starts soft and builds to intense with lingering finish. — 3 years ago
