Nice French / Italian funk to it. Very good wine! Tim H brought it to the lake. — 5 years ago
Great wine that not only drinks well today, but for years to come. Fresh, sophisticated with medium weight. Hints of black raspberry and peppercorn spice. — 7 years ago
Another tasty Spanish jewel. Tempranillo blend from Sardon del Duero, Ribera del Duero's western cousin and a neighbor along the Mila de Oro 👏🏼 — 10 years ago
A happy aging. Still hot; but tannins have softened; tons of raisin, white pepper. — 12 years ago

Fuuuuuck! So good!! Easter 2020 quarantine wine. Nice dark fruit but not too flabby or boring. — 6 years ago
Nose of Currant, spiced cherries. Lively vanilla, apple, black berry, tobacco. Soft mouthfeel, utterly quaffable; cantaloupe on the tongue. Giddy up. — 10 years ago
Full bodied but will acidity still shining through. — 11 years ago
2020 Pietra marina - Etna Bianca superiore. Golden straw coloration. From Mila, birthplace of carricante, why it’s superiore. On the nose, citrus, herbaceous, salinity and minerality. On the palate, rich mouthfeel, citrus, herbs, salinity from the sea, and a finish of herbs (tarragon?) and minerals. Interesting- combo of Chablis and Chardonnay. Paired with mushroom and spring onion mayonnaise. — a year ago
