2nd in the flight. Nose was non-existent to start but filled out over the course of the tasting. Word is - for every year of age it needs a minute in the glass for optimal opening. On 25/1/17 Citrus Burst Speyside Linkwood Single Cask Release 1997. Linkwood single malt Scotch whisky, bottled by Wemyss and given the name Citrus Burst, which doesn't sound too dissimilar from the name of an ice cream or an exciting sweetie. It's not. It's a tasty, tasty single cask whisky which matured in a hogshead from 1997 to 2013. A release of 363 bottles. — 8 years ago
