Leghorn

Leghorn

Petaluma Gap Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2017

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.

Fruity nose with strawberries, raspberries, bing cherries, light oak, spices, light barnyard, light vegetables, earth and black pepper.

Medium-bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with strawberries, raspberries, cherries, light oak, spices, chocolates, black pepper, light vegetables, herbs and earth.

Tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is an easy drinking Pinot Noir from California. Showing mild complexity with a nice mouthfeel, and a little spicy on the finish.

Good right out of the bottle and shows more structure after 20 minutes of airtime.

A nice wine to pair with food or drink by the porch.

I gave it a light chill and had it with cheeses.

13.8% alcohol by volume.

89 points.
