A very pleasant surprise! Light golden color. Aromas and flavors of green apple, minerals, bread dough and a hint of citrus. Pleasant tiny bubbles and a creamy mousse. Solid balance and bright acidity. A touch (1.5%) of RS. Nice and refreshing. Crowd pleaser! — 2 years ago
Vault Brewing following a 15 mile bike ride on the New Hope Canal Path. This wine went well with Pork Belly Fries & Buffalo Cauliflower 😋 — 4 years ago
Pennsylvania Grüner. That’s right, and a very good one at that! Well balanced with pure varietal character and age worthy over several years. — 2 months ago

2023 must have been a warmer/riper vintage due to the fact that this wine seems quite tropical. Aromas and flavors of pineapple, mango, pears and lemon/lime. Noticeable touches of minerals and white pepper on the long finish. Very fruit forward and refreshing. Crisp acidity and well rounded texture. Not a typical expression of Gru V, but pretty enjoyable. — 3 months ago
Solid vintage year for the reserve cab. It’s one of the better balanced mid-Atlantic cabs you can find. It has the density and complexity of a top tier cab you’d expect from.more acclaimed Napa vineyards - but without the the ‘in your face’ tannins. Nice job Penn’s Woods! — 4 years ago
Deep Ruby with complex aromas of dark fruit aromas and subtle spices. On the palate ripe blackberry and cherry flavors with notes of espresso, cacao and vanilla. Elegant soft tannins with toasty oak and balanced acidity drinking well now on a long finish ending with fruit and oaky character. — 4 years ago

PnP. Big wine with great depth, but massive oak. Lots of life left. Will try my other bottle in 5yrs and hope the oak tones down and some fruit comes through. — a month ago
