Per Bianca of PBB: A co-fermented wine of red and white grapes is what everyone should be looking for in a summertime wine. It's light, complex, and as long as it's made with skilled hands, incredibly balanced and easy drinking.. The Baton Rouge is both deeply herbal and very giving with the red tart fruits like red currants and cranberry. Also earthy notes of smoky rosemary, pink florals, and fresh dirt. On the palate the tasting notes randge from strawberries and stone fruit to vanilla and nutmeg. It's a really lovely wine that definitely should be served chilled and with a spread of cheese and meats, or marinated veggies. — 3 years ago
