This is a well made dessert wine from the tiny island of Pantelleria off the Sicilian coast. Muscat grapes dried in the sun produce an unctuous wine with orange and apricot honey flavors. It could have used a bit more acidity and length to really show is best — 6 years ago

Probably the best chianti I’ve tasted, but at $500 it would want to be. Complex jammy strawberry and bright re cherry combine with woody/forest floor flavours. prominent tannin. Will improve and be cracking in 10 yrs — a year ago
