100% Tintorera (Alicante Bouche). Extremely dark, near black purple from core to edge. Abundant nose of herby black raspberry, and plum bread. Full-bodied palate echoes the nose adding layers of black cherry, marzipan, and a hint of licorice on the lengthy finish. Medium minus acidity balanced by medium dusty tannins. A yummy introduction to the most widely vinted tinturier from its home in Spain. Soft enough for slightly spicy fare, but with enough structure for casseroles or medium cuts of beef. Don’t wear white though! Drink now. — 4 years ago
OLC specific blend, 65% Nebbiolo, 20% Sangiovese and 15% Barbera. Mild tannins, very multi-dimensional. Ok, not great. — 5 years ago

This one tastes almost like a fancy grape juice. Very smooth, subtle tart, bursting berry and grape flavor. Very easy drinking. — 2 months ago
