Originally tasted back to back from Rosso to Rocca de Piro then this. This time had it with ‘16 Barolo, interesting to see how much they’re different from each other given the fact that both are from Nebbiolo. Slightly lighter than Barolo but more lively and energetic, notes of cherry and fresh oak with gentle smokiness. Absolutely enjoyed it! — 2 years ago
