Hesperian Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2014. Lots of sediment which means lots of aeration and decanting. After 30 minutes of decanting and achieving a cool down temperature of 54°, it is perfection in a glass. Beautiful field of lilac and wild violets on the nose. The pallette explodes with a beautiful, dark berry and black licorice overlaying a beautiful leather and spicy base. Lots of handsome dark oak and graphite bringing in the finish. Finishing off with a very dry spicy zing. Although not a Zinfandel, it is darn close. I absolutely love this bottle of wine. This is a fantastic creation of palette ecstasy. — 9 months ago
