Double decanted at Ma Cuisine. Charming from the get go. Floral quality of Lignier's style combined with the vintage gives it an attractive nose of sweet spices and red berry fruit, quite Vosne like. Very elegant and smooth on palate, while the slight astringency gives way to NSG. Later learned that the fruit is owned by Hospice de Nuits. Even more impressive considering that Hubert Lignier does not tend this particular vineyard. Fan of Les St George made by Lignier and Faiveley. Need to try Chevillon and Gouge to see how the style differs!
