Dry prosecco. Easy to drink but not too many flavors. — 5 years ago
The best! Had it at Jamie’s Wine Emporium in Galena, IL — 7 years ago
Medium ruby in color; raspberries, cherries, and dried herbs on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like hibiscus, pomegranates, raspberry jam, and crushed gravel with a long finish. I love this wine. Nellie likes it with pork. — 5 months ago

Beautiful and highly structured bottle of wine. Smooth mouth feel with subtle tannins. Dark fruits, licorice, tabacco notes.

Split this bottle with Sarah halfway through our first week of solo parenting. It’s delicious. Beautiful straw color. Honey, honey suckle, candied lemon. Very sweet at first with a slightly sweet, tart finish. — 8 months ago
I didn’t have high expectations for this wine. Mostly, it was in my cellar as part of a “can I drink all 50 states?” Instead I was pleasantly surprised. Is it fantastic? No. It’s not comparable to decent West Coast quality. But it’s also not bad... moderate acidity and ripe red fruits are pleasant with hints of tannins still present. Fairly dry but hidden by the muted tannins that remain. Back notes are phenolic and a little bit oaky. It is soft and lacks structure; definitely a drink-now wine. I would happily have another bottle. I’m surprised these are the varietals they chose to grow in Illinois, but it works... — 4 years ago
100 on the winary. tobacco, grass, freshly shorn sheep, galena, iron oxide, grapes, raspberry, a faint whiff of yellow birch bark, tangerine, notes of washed agate. maybe a fleeting gossamer thread of elderberry — 6 years ago
