Highly aromatic & highly tannic - this is a impressive beast of a wine. Black cherries, blackberries and kirsch with a touch of spice. Plus a meaty, leathery undertone. On the palate full on, with a powerful tannic grip, a bit rustic perhaps, but enjoyable nevertheless. Impeccable balance and carries the 15% alc effortlessly and unnoticeably.
