At first fruity (red fruit) and easy to drink. Add the food (veal, but also duck and probably lamb) and there is the surprise: some spicy/pepper, still red fruit, nice acidity. Everybody’s friend but great complexity for those who look for it. — 7 years ago

Solid ripasso with some nice oak.

This was nice. A deep red colour with red fruits aroma. It was medium bodied and had a really nice gentle punch of cherry, plum and hints of vanilla that showed its flavours with subtle tannin. — a year ago
