Second Vino Nobile di Montepulciano I bought for home after a stay there last month. Much softer on the palate than the first, which resembled Chianti Classico. This is closer to a Barolo with much softer tannins. Salt & Pepper cran-apple-cherry.

Big fruity nose of black cherry and plum with lots notes of forest floor and spice box. Medium bodied and full of fruit. Bright acidity leads to rich, drying tannins and a elegant, long lasting finish. — 10 years ago
