Fruity nose of black currants, blackberries, cooked cherries, light cedar, licorice, cloves, chocolates, spices, herbs, tobacco leaf and black tea.
Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black plums, cooked cherries, blueberries, light wood, mediterranean spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, light earth, cola and black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Israel. Fruit forward and nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Showing great complexity at this point.
This 7 year old is drinking beautifully now. Drinking at its peak, and will continue to do so in the next couple of years.
I had this vintage 2 years ago and decided to give it a few years in the bottle to mature properly. What a great choice, as it is drinking so much better now.
Needed 20 minutes in the glass to open up properly. Elegant, and good by itself as a sipping wine.
A blend of 70 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. Aged in French oak barrels for 14 months. Kosher and not Mevushal.
