Nose of sweet tart candy, cranberry, sour cherry, black pepper, and a bit of loamy, mushroomy earthiness.
Lots of bright, red fruit acidity on the palate: cranberry, pomegranate, sour cherry. Tannins are soft and leave a touch of astringency. That mushroomy earthiness on the nose hints in the aftertaste. Alcohol heat is apparent.
