Great value everyday wine with hints of a premium wine. Delightful for pop and pour. Deep ruby color. Cherry and spice on the nose. Medium body with cherry and spice on the nose. Well balanced acidity and tannins with body between medium and full. Cherry, spice, dry leaves, leather and a hint of licorice on the palate. Earthy dark berries on the nose. Mouthwatering acidity on the palate. Earth and moss blended with candied cherries and raspberries with cinnamon and clove on the palate. Overall crisp and earthy with fruit undertones. The finish is long and dry. I would pair with a spicy pasta to counterbalance the earthiness. — a year ago
