Chateau L'Insouciance

Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2009

So much going on with this Saint Estephe... Pencil lead, bacon fat, black current, blackberry, black cherry, red pepper flakes, dried tomato, peperroni, bell pepper, leather, dark chocolate, pipe tobacco, lilac.

Chalky tannins (med+) and mouthfeel. Very complex. Good vibrant acidity. Kinda mindblowingly complex actually. Yeah, I could write a short story about this wine.
