Wow! This could replace Charles Hiedsieck as my favorite NV bubble under $50. Blackberry, ripe apple, lime citrus, grapefruit, and yeast. Vigorous and full of energy yet so refined and elegant. Drier than Brut, almost feels like zero dosage, but there is enough creaminess on the palate to provide a delicate balance. Long mineral driven saline finish. 100% grand cru Pinot Noir, 6 years on lees. Can’t think of a better value than this! — 4 years ago
