At the Penfolds Californian Collection Dinner at the Downs Club on Monday night. This is their brand new French Champagne venture with Thienot - a vintage Cuvée from 2012. Initially white flowers, citrus and sliced apple notes. Limited notes. A delicate Champagne with a creamy nutty texture. A better summer than a winter Champers I would venture to say.
