Dark color. Darker than the new moon. (Not really, more like dark, natural red licorice). Smells like horses rode hard and put away wet. Also sawed, wooden things. And musky jams made of black and red fruits. Cap gun smoke. Flavors are zippy, dry, savory. Bit of black tea. Maybe some gunpowder tea as well. And licorice. It’s thick, rich and gratifying. The Franc probably beefs it up. It’s a nice Cru for any crew. — a year ago
