I bought this because I love the blend, 65% Montepulciano 35% Sangiovese, and had to try it. It’s very smoky/earthy at first which I’m not a big fan of but I like it so much better tonight. Smells like the sidewalk in front of Sparks after Paul Castellano got capped, tastes like blueberry covered roast meat with herbs sprinkled with granite dust, ending in a long bloody finish. Who says St Chinian doesn't age? — 9 years ago
