Pop and pour. Cork came out in 1 piece with a Durand. Lovely aged gattinara. Soft blood orange peel, dried rose, soft leather and a hint of medicinal herbs. On the palate: acidity still very much alive: leathery sour cherry, barbecue, mint and soft, but still grainy tannin on the close. Fantastic, and probably still has a number of years ahead. — 4 years ago
