This one could be a crowd pleaser, but unique with the Touriga National base. Not a lot of spiciness from the Syrah comes through but just a touch of the funk. A light dustiness too, but the overall feel is fresh. I really like this one a lot. I'd serve it at a party. — 7 years ago

Pretty good wine ! — 8 years ago
Deep and solemn dark ruby and crimson red with pretty brilliance. You can barely see your fingers through the wine. Very pleasing and complete nose of dark cherry compote and rubarb. Great depth on this wine right away, from entrance to third quarter. Very daring blend, showing high fruit and agressive tannins. High tannins supporting a fruit bomb that takes you to a very, very long and interesting finish. Structure and fruit galore that behaves like a young australian shiraz. Take this wine to a fine barbecue, rather than a paella. A hearty stew would do this wine well too. 91 pts. — 10 years ago

Black fruits in flavor and smell. Incredible taste flavor figs and blueberries. Delicious, only that if you do not like salty wines, this is not your wine. The Ribera del Guadiana wines remind me of my visit to Cáceres, the homeland of Hernán Cortés, very acid, ideal in a cut like Sirlon or Arrachera. European wines are not usually as salty, like those in Mexico or South America but this one is delicious. — 6 years ago
