Piroutte | 2012 | Philippe Melka | Agustin Huneeus
"Beautiful aromas of roasted coffee beans, wild cherries, black licorice, toasty wood, hint of cocoa and vanilla. On the palate, powerful yet elegant bodied, infused with spice, black fruits, firm tannins, long, spicy finish."

Fino sherry bottled in 1980. Both reductive and oxidative: a [delicious] enigma! — 9 years ago
Probably one of the best wines I've ever had - and a phenomenal value for the quality. A wine from Quintessa's Agustin Huneeus, the 2010 was drinking perfectly. Complex nose of anise, red fruit, cigar box, and leather. On the palate greeted with juicy red and black fruit, baking spice, and great body. Very fine, integrated tannins, with a warm lingering finish. Impeccable balance. Cabernet Sauvignon dominant with Carmenere, Syrah, and Merlot. — 10 years ago
