Wow. Such a cool wine! Delicious. Wish I could find more of this — 4 months ago
A Gemischter Satz from Burgenland, slightly naturalistic, a bit funky, highly drinkable.
A flowery nose with some ripe pear, apple, summer meadow but also a salty, herby note adding an interesting edge.
On the palate this is vibrant, energetic, juicy. There’s a bit of grip, a beautiful mouthfeel, nice mid palate presence. Yellow fruit, ripe & a bit bruised, with great juiciness and an underlying salty minerality.
This has character, interesting edges and good depth. And disappears in a blink.

Very interesting. An unexpected buttery smokiness balances the acidity nicely. Apple-y on the nose. — a month ago
More body to this than I expected for 11.5% natty white blend. Skin contact. — 3 months ago
The grand finale! Dad brought this. I tasted apricot and agave. Tasting notes were marmalade and barley sugar. I can’t say I could pin “barley sugar” but I am stashing that descriptor for future tastings 🤪 — 8 months ago

Deep bright yellow gold (barrel fermented?). Initially shy but inviting nose of dried apple and white pepper. Spicy medium palate confirms the palate as well as the barrel fermentation(!), adding a bit of orange candy once it opens up (still dry, tho). Moderate finish typical of the style. Gott say I thought I'd be disappointed or at least underwhelmed by this wine. Not at all. This is a really nice dry expression of the variety that's got more complexity than expected. Drink now with pork or turkey. — a month ago
